The phone rang at 9:30 this morning and it was the humane society! Our little kitty wasn't well enough to get spayed today so they wanted us to bring her home to get better. (She has a bit of a cold!) So this afternoon we went up and rescued her from her 2'x2' cell! Skip and I knew the challenge would be introducing our cat Max to the new addition. After much caution the two met, and I must say Max was less than thrilled! (See attached pic) He follows Chloe around everywhere, and has basically been a big wuss! So now we are a little family with two cats, which will be our limit so that there aren't more cats than people living here. (MOM & DAD!!!)

Nothing wrong with having new family members when the old ones move out!!!! She's a real cutie. Hope Max warms up to her.

Max is getting better, but he still watches her like a hawk every now and then. She likes to sleep in his bed and he's still unsure about how he feels about that. Just as long as she doesn't use his kitty condo I think we'll be okay!
So cute. I am glad you didn't stick with the name pineapple and that you've decided to not have more cats than people. I guess you wouldn't be the old lady with cats since you've got skip -but still good move.
